Birthday Cakes

Cakes on a birthday are the essentials!! A birthday whether it’s a party or not, screams for a cake. Even if you may not be a cake lover, your siblings, partner, parents, or kids will want one. Personally, I find that choosing of birthday cakes is one of the very best parts of any birthday. There are various designs available, and so many possibilities for pre-made cakes are always available giving you a chance to decide from. It is true that as we get older and we become much less enthusiastic and less excited about blowing out candles, but I find that we still love to have a cake. Having a birthday cake made just for us, every once a year has something special to it, and you have to admit, it does make you feel somewhat special.

Other than your birthday, the only other occasion screaming out for a cake would be a wedding! Wedding cakes are obviously more important than birthday cakes, considering the fact that they don’t appear every once a year! I doubt you’d want to have those huge wedding cakes every year; that may be too much for even a simple anniversary celebration every year. Weddings are big, and they call out for big cakes, but just because we believe that our wedding cakes are the ultimate cakes, taking into account that it is a cake representing the most spectacular moment of your life, that doesn’t give you a reason to settle for the cake you’ll want to have for your birthday. If you want to go all out for your birthday cake, why not! Or sometimes, it’s that special number, you can choose to go out of your way picking a cake that year. Most birthday cakes are small and flat, but when you have a special number coming up, or you know that you are having a large gathering, you can get something much like a wedding cake.

The type of cake you’ll have for your birthday depends upon your choice, whether it’s white or chocolate, it’s all your choice. If you love almonds, or you’re a coconut lover, go right ahead and have a cake made with just coconuts or almonds! If you prefer a jelly filling, you can have that as well, or even just all chocolate and fudge like. I think that the inside of the cake is what really counts, but the first thing that people see is the decorations on the birthday cake, what is on the outside of the birthday cake is what seems impressive. It makes sense to go for the look, since the cake has to look nice as well, so get what you want for your special day!

Cakes can be bought online, or from bakery stores, but an option I really enjoy is, baking a cake with my mother! You can have a birthday cake delivered, but imagine the fun and experience you’d gain out of baking your birthday cake, whether you bake alone or with a friend or another loved one. You may just enjoy baking, and discover that you truly are amazing. Baking your own cake brings a personal touch, and you may even take it to a level further up, such as baking for others on their birthdays. Baking cakes might just be your beginning to baking many other things. In the end, all that matters is that you get your cake the way you want it on your special day representing what your birthday means to you.
